South Africa

Mondi PLC

• Mondi has completed the sale of its three Russian packaging converting operations to the Gotek Group.
• The total consideration for the sale was RUB 1.6bn, and Mondi has received net proceeds of EUR 30.4m into its Austrian bank account.
• The net proceeds from the sale of all Russian assets will be distributed to shareholders once Mondi's exit from Russia is complete.

Anglo American PLC

• Anglo American announces that De Beers Group and the Government of Botswana have reached an agreement in principle.
• The agreement includes a new 10-year sales agreement for Debswana's rough diamond production, extending until 2033.
• Additionally, the agreement includes a 25-year extension of the Debswana mining licenses, extending until 2054.

The U.S.

Tesla

• Tesla delivered 466,140 vehicles in Q2 beating expectations of 448K.
• Tesla has now delivered a total of 4.54 million electric vehicles in its history.

Nio

• Nio delivered 10,707 vehicles in June 2023 down 17.4% YoY (Q2 deliveries - 23,520)

Rivian

• Rivian has announced it delivered 12,640 vehicles in Q2 above expectations of 11.3K.
