Astral Foods Limited- Voluntary Trading Update and Initial Trading Statement

• The Feed division has limited the impact of loadshedding, however at an additional cost and has committed future capital expenditure to mitigate the impact further.
• Higher internal feed volumes are required, as the poultry division has been negatively impacted by loadshedding.
• Loadshedding has resulted in abnormal additional costs and substantial production cutbacks in the poultry division.
• EPS for the six months ending 31 March 2023, is expected to decrease by no more than 90%, being 142.0 cents, compared to the six months ended 31 March 2022.
