  • Revenue increased by 6%.

Netcare Limited- Results for the six months ended 31 March 2023

  • Revenue for the period was R11.537 billion, an increase of 11.9% compared to the previous year.
  • Operating profit was R1.382 billion, a 32.5% increase.
  • Group EBITDA increased by 24.0% to R2.0 billion.

  • Operating profit from core trading activities increased by 16.5% to R2.1 billion, up from R1.8 billion in 1H22.
  • Operating profit margin increased to 10.1%.
  • Enhanced group Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) was 14.3%, compared to 14.1% in 1H22.
  • Ordinary dividend declared: 200 cents per share, compared to 165 cents per share in 1H22.
