South Africa

Anglo American Platinum Limited- Annual Results Short Form Announcement

• Dollar basket price per PGM ounce sold fell by 8% while the Rand basket price per PGM ounce sold grew by 2%.
• Revenue fell by 24% to R164.1 billion.
• Basic EPS fell by 38% to R186.67 per share.
• Net cash fell by 43% to R27.8 billion.

Mpact Limited- Trading statement

• Mpact is in the process of selling its Plastics Trays & Films business, Versapak.
• The Group's revenue increased by approximately 7% to R12.4 billion (December 2021: R11.5 billion) for the year ending 31 December 2022.
• Mpact's underlying earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) are expected to increase by approximately 23% compared to the previous year.
• The Group has announced an investment of R1.2 billion in its Mkhondo Paper Mill to meet growing demand.
• Mpact expects earnings per share (EPS), headline earnings per share (HEPS) and underlying EPS to be in the range of 430 to 475 cps, an increase of between 22.3% and 35.1%.
