Wiko SteynETF Update 1

Inflation came in red hot again.  The Dollar hit parity with the Euro. We had another eventful week of macro events. On Wednesday the CPI of the USA printed another 40-year-old record at 9.1%. This will force the federal reserve to stay the course and continue on the path of demand destruction by increasing interest rates and quantitative tightening.
For the first time in two decades, we are back to 1$ = 1E. The general sentiment is that we are heading for a global recession but there is consensus that the US will recover faster and Europe might have a long drawn-out recession. This is one of the driving factors for the strong dollar and for now, it is still seen as the dominant world currency.
