Sanlam Limited- Interim Results for the six months ended 30 June 2022

  • Net earnings from financial services grew 1% to R4,557 million.
  • Net operational earnings decreased 7% to R4,353 million.
  • Headline earnings decreased 8% to R3,681 million.

Sasfin Holdings Limited- Trading statement for the year ended 30 June 2022

  • The company expects an EPS of between 574 cents and 615 cents, representing an increase of between 137.98% and 154.97%.

Anglo American Platinum Limited

  • Apple's new iPhone 14 will cost $799, and the iPhone 14 Plus will cost $899.
  • The iPhone 14 will be available starting September 16th.
  • The iPhone 14 Plus will be available starting October 7th.
  • Apple also announced the new Apple Watch SE.

GameStop

  • GameStop has formed a partnership with FTX.
  • "The partnership is intended to introduce more GameStop customers to FTX's community and its marketplaces for digital assets.

  • EPS of -$0.36 beating expectations of -$0.42.
  • Revenue of $1.14B missing expectations of $1.28B.
