Karooooo Limited- business update

• Cartrack subscribers in total for the quarter ended November 30, 2022 grew by 14% to 1 678 606.
• Net Cartrack subscriber additions for the quarter ended November 30, 2022 grew by 27% to 78 593.

Thungela Resources Limited- Trading statement

• EPS is expected to be at least R125, representing an increase of at least 105%.
• Due to the Transnet Freight Rail performance, illegal mining activity and power interruption, Thungela lost approximately 600kt of export saleable production for FY 2022.
• Demand in Europe is expected to remain firm into 2023.
• Export saleable production for FY 2022 is expected to be 12.8Mt, which is lower than the revised guidance range of 13.0Mt to 13.6Mt.

• Deere declared a quarterly dividend of $1.20 per share up from its previous dividend of $1.13 per share.

• Ferrero has agreed to acquire Wells Enterprises.

GameStop Earnings

• EPS of -$0.31 missing expectations of -$0.28.
• Revenue of $1.19B missing expectations of $1.35B.

Theranos

• Theranos executive Sunny Balwani has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for defrauding patients and investors.

Exxon Mobile

• Exxon Mobile expanded its share buyback program up to $50 Billion through 2024.
