Sygnia Limited- Financial Results for the six months ended 31 March 2022

• Assets under management and administration grew 6.1% to R295.3 billion.
• Revenue increased 13.4% to R397.4 million.
• Profit after tax grew 31.5% to R139.1 million.
• HEPS grew 23.8% to 92.6 cents.
• Diluted HEPS grew 23.5% to 89.9 cents.
• The board declared an Interim dividend per share of 80.0 cents to be paid on Monday, 4 July 2022.

• Meta are officially changing their ticker to "$META" from "$FB" on Thursday.

Apple

• Apple unveiled Apple Pay allowing people to split the cost of Apple Pay purchase's into 4 equal payments 
• Messages will now have an edit button, undo send and mark treads as unread including other new features
• Apple is giving a sneak peek of its Free Form app coming later this year on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
• The app will let you work together in groups on a whiteboard
• Apple announced you will soon be able to "share a set of tabs in FaceTime and see what tabs people are looking at in the tab bar" 
• The company has also said it is bringing the weather map to the iPad.
• Apple said its trying to get rid of passwords replacing them with "Passkeys" that use biometrics built into your device.
• Apple announced its Mail app is getting some updates including reminders, scheduled send, new search features, autocorrect and typo correction
• The company also announced the new MacBook Air will be available at $1199
• Apple's new MacBook Air will include MagSafe charging, will have a headphone jack, and will have 2 thunderbolt ports
• The company also announced the new WatchOS 9 update
• Apple said it will now periodically remind you of what health data you might be sharing and who you are sharing it with.
• Apple announced a new update to lets users log when they take medications and get notifications when they need to take their next dose. You can track and manage your meds in the iPhone Health app. You will also be able to scan your medication labels with the iPhone camera
• Apple's Fitness App is now available for all iPhone users. The app will use the iPhone's motion sensors according to The Verge.
• Apple have also announced their new IOS 16 update.
• Apple announced an all-new My Home app which includes controls, cameras, and more.
• Apple News announced a new My Sports section to let people keep up with their favourite teams.
• Apple announced its new Apple Maps display is coming to 11 more countries.

Paramount

• The family of the author whose article inspired the 1986 Tom Cruise movie "Top Gun" on Monday sued Paramount for copyright infringement over this year's blockbuster sequel "Top Gun: Maverick."

Tesla

• Tesla China has reportedly had "no news of job cuts" and is still looking to expand its talent poll according to Teslarati.
• The EV giants are still on a hiring spree.
