Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Limited- Operational update for the nine months ended 31 March 2022

• HEPS increased 59% to 158.3 cents from 99.7 cents.
• Normalised HEPS increased 46% to 172.5 cents.
• EPS increased 6% to 114.9 cents from 108 cents.
• Operating profit increased 26% to R1 736 million.
• Investment return improved more than 100% to R852 million.
• Return on equity improved to 18.2% from 11.7%

Adcorp Holdings Limited - Consolidated results for the year ended 28 February 2022

• Operating profit from continuing operations increased by 68.2% to R199 million.
• Net cash position improved to positive R198 million.
• Interest-bearing debt excluding leases of R133 million compared to R456 million in 2021.
• EPS increased by 206.5% to 109,1 cents per share.
• HEPS increased by 190.6% to 99,4 cents per share.
• The board declared a dividend of 47.0 cents per share to be paid on Monday, 22 August 2022.
• The company also said that "We have seen early signs of some recovery in permanent and contingent workforce demand."

Microsoft

• Microsoft is reportedly working on a Xbox cloud streaming device codenamed "keystone" to offer cloud gaming, according to WindowCentral.

ARK Innovation ETF

• Zoom is now the largest holding in the ETF.
• Tesla is the second largest holding, followed by Roku in third.

S&P500, the Dow Jones & the Nasdaq 100

• The 3 major indexes in the US had a strong week last week.
• The S&P500 was up 6.59%. 
• The Dow Jones was up 6.24%.
• The Nasdaq 100 was up 6.84%.

Amazon 

• Amazon shareholders earlier this week approved the company's 20:1 stock split.

Coinbase

• Since Coinbase went public, CEO Brian Armstrong has sold $292 million worth of shares, according to the WSJ.

Apple

• Apple is back to being the largest company in the world, reclaiming the spot from Saudi Aramco.

McDonald's

• McDonald's declared a quarterly dividend of $1.38 per share, this is unchanged from its previous dividend.

Toyota

• Toyota said today it missed its global production target for April producing 692,259 vehicles during the month down 9.1% YoY.

Apple

• Apple reportedly filed to patent the name RealityOS for the operating system on its rumored virtual and augmented reality headset.
