Glencore PLC- Half year production report

  • Copper production decreased 15% to 510.2 kt.
  • Cobalt production grew 40% to 20.7 kt.
  • Zinc production decreased 17% to 480.7 kt.
  • Lead production decreased 19% to 95.1 kt.
  • Nickel production grew 21% to 57.8 kt.
  • Gold production decreased 21% to 334 koz.
  • Silver production decreased 21% to 12 579 koz.
  • Ferrochrome production increased 2% to 786 kt.
  • Coal production increased 14% to 55.4 mt.
  • Oil production grew 3 132 kboe.

Vukile Property Fund Limited

  • Vukile have concluded an agreement which will see them acquire the Pan Africa Shopping Centre comprising the leasehold rights and the letting enterprise conducted by the seller over the leasehold properties and the future expansion of the shopping centre on the leasehold properties and the adjacent freehold property by the seller.
  • The acquisition of Pan Africa Shopping Centre aligns with Vukiles strategy of being a high-quality, low-risk JSE listed retail REIT.
  • The acquisition will be funded by the proceeds of sales and existing resources.
  • The phase 2 extension will add over 9 000m, increasing the total GLA of the centre to over 25 000m.
  • The anticipated cash consideration for the acquisition is R668 879 505.00.

  • Revenue of $83B beating expectations of $82.76B.
  • iPhone revenue of $40.67B beating expectations of $38.85B.
  • The company says it nearly doubled its sales in India during last quarter.
  • Apple maintained its quarterly dividend of $0.23 per share.

Exxon earnings

  • EPS of $4.14 beating expectations of $3.89.
  • Revenue of $115.68B beating expectations of $111.67B.

Chevron earnings

  • EPS of $5.82 beating expectations of $5.08.
  • Revenue of $68.76B beating expectations of $57.96B.
