SARB announces interest rate decision

• The SARB has announced yet another 75 bps hike. 

Rand Merchant Investments Holdings Limited- Earnings and dividends declaration

• Normalised earnings from continuing operations decreased 4% to R1 773 million.
• The board declared a gross final cash dividend of 42.0 cents per ordinary share, to be paid on Monday, 24 October 2022.

Santova Limited- Acquisition of A-Link Freight, Inc.

• Santova has announced that they have agreed to acquire 100% of the share capital or assets of A-Link Freight, Inc. from Universal Shipping, Inc.
• The acquisition of the U.S.-based A-Link Freight will cost Santova US$2 350 000.
• A-Link Freights provides air freight services to and from the U.S. with a focus on exports from the L.A. Airport.
• The company has been operating for over 20 years.

• General Motors will close reservations for its electric GMC Hummer pickup and forthcoming GMC Hummer SUV after more than 90,000 of the vehicles were reserved.
