• British American Tobacco has repurchased 540,000 shares and intends on holding the shares in treasury.
• Glencore has repurchased 1,160,000 shares and intends on holding the shares in treasury.

Twitter

• Twitter is planning on expanding into long-form content with upcoming Twitter Notes feature.
• "users will be able to create articles using rich formatting and uploaded media, which can then be tweeted and shared with followers upon publishing"
• The Twitter board have unanimously recommended that its shareholders approve the Elon Musk takeover bid.
• The acquisition would be worth $44 billion.
• The deal would take Twitter private at $54.20 per share.
