Truworths International Limited- Results for the 53 weeks ended 3 July 2022, dividend declaration

  • Sale of merchandise grew 9.1% to R17.9 billion.
  • Retail sales increased 9.0% to R18.5 billion.
  • Gross margin increased to 53.5% from 51% in June 2021.
  • Profit before finance costs and tax grew 45.4% to R4.4 billion.
  • Operating margin grew to 24.7% from 18.5%.
  • EPS grew 65.4% to 794.1 cents per share.
  • The company repurchased R1.6 billion on share repurchases.
  • The directors of the company declared a gross cash dividend of 205 cents per share, to be paid on Monday 26 September 2022.
