Transaction Capital Limited - Unaudited interim results for the six months ended 31 March 2022
Transaction Capital delivered a strong operational performance in HY2022 with earnings growing at rates higher than pre-pandemic levels.
Core headline earnings from continuing operations increased 38% to R603 million.
Core headline earnings per share from continuing operations increased 28% to 83.7 cents.
Core headline return on average equity remains unchanged at 14%.
Interim dividend per share up 74% to 33 cents per share.

Grindrod Shipping Holdings Limited
Grindrod Has announced the sale of the 2016-built medium range product tanker, Matuku, for $30.0 million.
Grindrod has also acquired the 2015-built supramax bulk carrier, IVS Pinehurst, for an amount of $18.0 million with delivery planned on or about June 18, 2022.

Santova Limited - Audited preliminary results for the year ended 28 February 2022.
HEPS was reported to be 126,81 cents per share, representing an increase of 169,4%.
Profit for the period increased 144,0% to R170,1 million.
Net asset value per share was reported to be R5,59 per share, representing an increase of 27,3%.
Revenue and net interest income up 40,0% to R619,1 million.
The company continues to focus on building value per share. Resources are best applied reinvested into the business and therefore no dividend was declared.

Ninety One PLC- Results for the year ended 31 March 2022
Assets under management increased 10% to 143.9 billion.
Net inflows of 5.0 billion.
Profit before tax increased 31% to 267.1 million.
Basic earnings per share increased 34% to 22.6p and adjusted earnings per share increased 13% to 19.2p.
Proposed final dividend of 7.7p per share.
Staff shareholding increased to 25.4%.
Record earnings and assets under management.

Shoprite
The Shoprite Group is issuing R8.9 billion worth of Shoprite Checkers shares to its employees through a new black economic empowerment (BEE) trust.

Master Drilling Group Limited
The company has declared a gross ordinary dividend of 32,50 cents per share.
Walmart
Yesterday Walmart finished down 11.4% following their results. 
This was its single biggest day drop since 1987.

Netflix
Netflix is reportedly seeing more cancellations from long-time subscribers compared to 2020.
Netlix is reportedly laying off around 150 employees across the company in the next round of layoffs.
A Netflix spokesperson said As we explained on earnings, our slowing revenue growth means we are also having to slow our cost growth as a company.
