Vodacom Group Limited- Interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2022

• Group revenue grew 7.7% to R53.7 billion.
• Financial services customers grew by 10.2% to 63.1 million.
• Net profit fell 9% to R8.07 million.
• EPS fell 9.3% to 457 cents per share.
• The company declared a gross interim dividend of 340 cents per ordinary share which will be paid on Monday 5 December 2022.

Telkom SA SOC Limited- Trading Statement for the six months ended 30 September 2022

• Basic EPS is expected to decrease by between 45% and 55% to between 124.6 and 152.2 cents per share.

Brait PLC- Results for the six-month period ended 30 September 2022

• Premier Group Limited has announced its intention to list on the main board of the JSE.
• The listing will raise $4.6 billion and significantly improve Braits balance sheet.
• Virgin Active membership has grown by 20% YTD.
• Virgin Active completed the acquisition of the Real Foods nutrition assets (Kauai and Nü).
• Braits NAV per share grew 0.4% to R8.40.

Purple Group Limited- Summary Consolidated Results for the year ended 31 August 2022

• Group revenue increased by 33.8% to R274 million.
• Group operating expenses increased by 38.1% to R213 million.
• Profit before fair value adjustments and tax increased by 55.2% to R40.3 million.
• Group basic EPS decreased by 16.8% to 3.71 cents per share.
• Purple group acquired the remaining 49% shareholding interest in EasyCrypto for R61 million.
• EasyEquities acquired the remaining 49% shareholding interest in EasyProperties for R25 million.
• EasyEquities acquired the remaining 50% shareholding interest in RISE for R60 million.

Shoprite Holdings Limited- Operational update for the quarter ended September 2022

• Group sales grew by 18.6%.
• Group sales, excluding RSA LiquorShop, grew by 15.9%.

RFG Holdings Limited- Trading statement for the year ended 2 October 2022

• EPS is expected to be between 64% and 69% higher, resulting in an EPS of between 135.5c and 139.6c.

Barloworld Limited- Trading statement

• Basic EPS is expected to decrease by between 22% and 26% to between 1 026.2 cents per share and 1 078.2 cents per share.

• Meta entered 2022 with 72 000 employees.
• So far in 2022, they've hired 15,300 more workers before just laying off 11,000 of them last week.

• Amazons devices unit, which includes Alexa products, runs at an operating loss of more than $5 billion a year.
