MTN Group Limited- Financial results for the six months ended 30 June 2022

Group service revenue grew by 12.8%.
Group data revenue grew by 33.1%.
Group fintech revenue grew by 9.9%.
EBITDA grew by 13.7%.
Basic EPS grew by 200.7% to 445 cents per share.
HEPS grew by 46.5% to 567 cents per share.
Return on equity improved by 4.6 percentage points to 24.2%.
Subscribers increased by 5.5% year-on-year to 281.6 million.
Active Mobile Money (MoMo) customers increased by 24.0% to 60.7 million.
MoMo volume of transactions up 31.5% YoY to 6.0 billion.
MoMo value of transactions up 1.0% YoY to US$116.3 billion.
There was no interim dividend declared, however, there will be a minimum dividend per share of 330 cents for FY22.

Old Mutual Limited- Trading statement for the period ended 30 June 2022

The company expects a basic EPS of between 111.3 cents and 124.9 cents, representing an increase of between 64% and 84%.

Advtech Limited- Trading statement for six months ended 30 June 2022

The company expects an EPS of between 66.7 and 69.6 cents per share, representing an increase of between 16% and 21%.

Woolworths

Woolworths will begin delivering groceries and other goods to customers by using electric vans.
The vans will be partially powered by solar energy.

Disney earnings

EPS of $1.09 beating expectations of $0.96.
Revenue of $21.50B, beating expectations of $21B.
Disney reported total global Disney+ subscribers of 152.1M beating expectations of 148.4M.
Disney now has more subscribers than Netflix across all its streaming services.
