MTN Group Limited- Trading statement for the six-month period ended 30 June 2022

  • MTN expects an EPS between 437 cents and 451 cents, representing an increase of between 195% and 205%.
  • MTN expects a HEPS of between 542 cents and 581 cents, representing an increase of between 40% and 50%.

Thungela Resources Limited- Trading Statement for the six months ended 30 June 2022

  • Thungela expects an EPS of between R66.85 and R67.45 compared to an EPS of R3.13 for the six months ended 30 June 2021.
  • Thungela expects a HEPS of between R66.85 and R67.45 compared to a HEPS of R3.05 for the six months ended 30 June 2021.

Kaap Agri Limited

Nio

  • Nio delivered 10,052 vehicles in June 2022 up 26.7% YoY but down 22.4% MoM.

PepsiCo

  • Celsius and Pepsi have announced a new long-term strategic distribution arrangement for Pepsi to begin distributing Celisus' drinks.
  • As part of the deal, Pepsi will invest $550M into Celsius for convertible preferred stock.
  • Shares were priced at $75 per share, or ~7.33M shares, equating to ~8.5% ownership in Celsius on an as-converted basis. 
  • The preferred shares are entitled to a 5% annual dividend.
