8 Value Stock Ideas

Looking for some value plays to dig into? Look no further

This afternoon I was screening for some value plays to do some further research into as a potential to find a new stock to add to my portfolio. The I have specifically excluded any commodities stock from the list given the cyclicality of these companies. The criteria used in my search is as follows:

1. P/E of below 7
2. EV/EBITDA of below 5
3. P/FCF of below of below 10
4. Current Ratio above 1
5. Debt / Equity  less than 40%
6. Return on Invested Capital above 7%

I was able to find the following companies that met all the criteria:

• P/FCF: 7.01
• Current Ratio: 3.08

• ROIC: 8.20%

Frontier Transport Holdings Ltd

• P/E: 5.43
• EV/EBITDA: 2.17
• P/FCF: 4.22
• Current Ratio: 1.88

Prior to conducting this exercise I already held three of the shares (Santova, Argent and Lewis) the fact that they thus were included in the list further reaffirms my investment approach.
